Up front the SUV gets a thick chrome glutted radiator grille ornate with Suzuki logo in the centre. The projector head lamps are equipped in line with the grille appearing a single unit. The long pulled back slender head lamps gel well with the lean stance of Vitara Brezza. Bumper in front is large and gets round fog lamps tucked inside the squarish housings garnished with a hint of chrome. The lower honey comb grille topped by the black cladding accentuates the aggression. The hood is flat and straight, while the steeply raked in windscreen in front and the sloping roof atop lends a modish touch to the outer semblance. Flanks miss out on the chrome work with most of the limelight is clinched by the square shaped wheel arches and the cladding around it. Maruti Vitara Brezza interiors are a step-up, especially in retrospect as this will not fall under the premium section. Wheelbase gauging 2500mm hints at a roomy cabin for the sub-four meter SUV. Although it offers enough space to passengers in the cabin but where it lags behind is the luggage storage space at around 328 litres which is less than the newly launched Baleno. The dashboard is draped in dark colour theme and gets a large rectangular console with mounted ac vents sitting at the top followed by a touch screen. The console further cascades into the floor, audio system is placed a tad low than usual along with temperature buttons. There is a cubbyhole for storage purpose followed by leather wrapped gear knob. A three spoke steering wheel is set in place featuring mounted controls. Maruti Vitara Brezza engine line-up as mentioned in the beginning will most likely be confined to diesel guise. Maruti has employed the regular Fiat sourced 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine powering most of the diesel models from Maruti like Ertiga, Ciaz etc The diesel engine is tuned to deliver 89bhop of top power along with 200Nm of torque. A five-speed conventional manual transmission will be mated to the diesel motor and an AMT may be introduced in the range later.

Maruti Vitara Brezza range in India will comprise of 7 variants namely LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O) and ZDi (O), ZDi + (Dual Tone) The base variants come with electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, power steering, power windows in front, folding rear seat, manual AC and tilt steering.
