Great looks, spacious interior and feature laden cabin makes CR-V a desirable model in the premium SUV space. Lacking a diesel unit in the line-up, CR-V draws power from two petrol engines available with a choice between six-speed manual and 5-speed automatic gearboxes. The lower capacity 2.0 litre petrol engine uses a two-wheel drivetrain as opposed to the 2.4 litre unit mated to the auto box, sending power to all four wheels via a real time 4WD.

Honda CR-V range is spread across three variants, deriving power from 2.0 litre and 2.4 litre petrol units with an option between a manual and an automatic transmission. Priced between Rs 22.2 lakh to Rs 26.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2.0 litre variant is available in both manual and automatic versions, whereas the 2.4 litre engine comes paired to the automatic transmission. Use of elements such as chrome garnish, body cladding and vertically stacked tail lamps work well for the exterior profile. On the inside, the SUV accommodates five adults with ample head, leg and shoulder space for passengers seated in front and rear.

Honda’s premium SUV, CR-V sports a contemporary design and use of key elements further accentuates the rugged character. The aggressively styled front facet dons a chrome laden grille that meets with the swooping headlamps. Lower down, the bumper comes equipped with fog lamps enclosed with chrome housing. Body cladding around the SUV and flared wheel arches add to the muscular stance. At the back, it sports vertically stacked tail lamps and a large bumper.

The 2.0 litre petrol engine develops 155bhp at 6500rpm and 190Nm torque at 4300rpm. Available in both six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmissions, the SUV uses a two-wheel drivetrain. The higher capacity 2.4 litre engine good for 189bhp at 7000rpm and 226Nm torque at 4400rpm is paired to the five-speed automatic transmission which directs power to all four wheels through a real time 4Wd system.
