Moto Guzzi Audace is built on the same V-twin platform that underpins California 1400. The prowess sports minimal styling, abstaining use of excess chrome unlike other models at this price point. Donning the traditional transverse engine layout with cylinders protruding from beneath the fuel tank, it reminds of other popular models from the Italian marque. Engine powering the cruiser is a high capacity V-TWIN unit mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Available at a price point of Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), Moto Guzzi Audace takes styling inspiration from California 1400 sporting wider drag-bars, foot-pegs and carbonfibre front mudguard. It derives power from the high-capacity V-TWIN engine making robust output and offers three riding modes-Sporty, Wet and Touring.

Featuring matte black paint, it gets a large speedometer layered with analogue tachometer and digital display. Adding to the aggressive stance are wide handle bars, sculpted tank and longitudinally mounted engine. It gets a split seat covered with faux leather, in terms of space it is a bit cramped, offering less space to the pillion. At the back, the cruiser sports split tail-lamp with turn indicators.

The 1380cc, longitudinally mounted, fuel-injected V-twin engine with oil-cooled technology develops 96bhp of top power and 121Nm torque. For transmitting power, it uses a six-speed unit.
