Tata Punch EV Review Punchy Performance Meets 468 km Range
4.0
Tata Punch EV Smart Plus 40 kWh(Electric)
The 40 kWh pack delivers an ARAI-certified range of 468 km, with a real-world C75 range of around 355 km. The 30 kWh variant returns 365–375 km ARAI (260–275 km real-world). DC fast charging takes the battery from 20-80% in just 26 minutes, adding 135 km of range in a 15-minute top-up.

Very poorly performing Tats Sierra
2.0
Tata Sierra Accomplished Plus TGDi 1.5 AT(Petrol)
Tata Sierra Accomplished+GDI AT has an impressive presence on road, comfortable interiors, BUT VERY SLOW PICK UP DESPITE HIGH TORQUE OF 250NM AND VERY VERY POOR MILEAGE ON ROAD - JUST 5.7 TO 6.1 KM/LITRE. Vehicles with such poor mileage should be banned from sale, as these consume huge petrol causing loss to national exchequer and also these vehicles increase pollution. I am going to write to the Transport Minister to ban all such vehicles with city mileage of less than 12 km/litre. Tata Sierra is not even meeting the standards claimed by the manufacturers themselves - 15 - 21 km/litre.

Tata Nexon 1.5 Revotorq Creative(Diesel)
I purchased this diesel variant of Nexon. Driven more than 200000 kms. Mileage is the main attraction. I have clocked 20+ kms/litre consistently. Legroom and rear seat space is a small concern but can be managed

Hyundai Creta 2020
4.0
Hyundai Creta SX 1.5 Petrol MT(Petrol)
As a proud owner of the first-batch 2020 Creta, I’ve put over 62,000 km on the odometer, taking it everywhere from long highway road trips to rugged mountain terrains. On flat plains, this car is an absolute beast—it gives you that immense power where you just want to race! But in steep hilly areas, I do feel it struggles a bit and needs more juice. It’s definitely a must-buy, but I think the design and comfort could be tweaked to decide what it really wants to be: an SUV, an MUV, or just a comfortable car.

and highways respectively. Space and comfort are also top notch for a hatch. Ride and handling are worth mentioning especially if you compare it with the 1st gen model. The only miss I feel is of a sunroof and rear armrest at least as an option, which would make this a complete overall package which is impossible to beat.

A Practical Beast The Ultimate Enthusiasts Car in India
5.0
Skoda Octavia RS STD(Petrol)
The Skoda Octavia RS is hands down one of the best performance sedans you can buy in India. It perfectly balances daily practicality with blistering, track-ready performance. The turbocharged TSI engine is an absolute masterpiece, pulling relentlessly across the rev range, while the DSG gearbox delivers lightning-fast shifts.
While the suspension is noticeably stiffer than the standard Octavia—making some of our notoriously bad city roads a bit bumpy—it pays off brilliantly in high-speed stability and cornering dynamics. The cabin feels premium, and the Alcantara sports seats hold you perfectly in place. Safety is top-tier, and the European build quality is evident the moment you shut the doors. The styling is a perfect "sleeper" look; it’s understated but features aggressive bumpers and beautiful alloys for those who know what they're looking at.
You do have to be prepared for premium maintenance costs and single-digit fuel economy in heavy city traffic, but every time you find an open stretch of road and put your foot down, it feels absolutely worth every rupee.

A Fabulous hatch
4.0
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Alpha Petrol(Petrol)
An undisputed hatchback leader of the country, Baleno does everything with exemplary finesse and smoothness. The 1.2 L petrol motor is an absolute gem and feels more lively with even the most gentle throttle inputs. The efficiency hovers atleast around the 15 and 20 kmpl mark in city and highways respectively. Space and comfort are also top notch for a hatch. Ride and handling are worth mentioning especially if you compare it with the 1st gen model. The only miss I feel is of a sunroof and rear armrest at least as an option, which would make this a complete overall package which is impossible to beat.

Economically the best car money can buy
4.0
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz Petrol(Petrol)
I have been driving this car for years now, and since the day I bought it, it hasn't cost me a single extra dime. It has never left me stranded, the service center has never overcharged me, repair costs are minimal, and spare parts are both affordable and readily available.
Overall, this car is worth every paisa. The only real downside is safety, but since I mostly stick to city commutes rather than highways, it works perfectly for me.
This vehicle is the perfect example of getting exactly what you pay for. Every essential feature you need is right there, the quality and finishing is top notch. No unwanted panel gaps, nothing came out of shape in the last 4-5 years. Honestly, Hyundai could teach other manufacturers a lesson or two about engine refinement and product quality.
Overall,
Quality of manufacturing is best.
Safety is the most important concern.
And the best part is..This car is dependable.

Best first car one can have
5.0
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz Petrol(Petrol)
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been an excellent first car for me. It offers a comfortable ride, light steering, and smooth handling, making city driving very easy. The cabin feels spacious and well-built, with all the essential features needed for daily use. Fuel efficiency is good, and maintenance costs are reasonable. Whether for commuting or occasional highway trips, it delivers a reliable and enjoyable driving experience. Overall, it's a practical and value-for-money hatchback.

Mahindra Bolero B4(Diesel)
It has been 7 years now that we are using ZLX Power+ and this has been a ever-ready vehicle for us and it has never let us down anywhere we have been through it. Obviously when you are driving it, you should expect a very comfy drive like it's cousins (Scorpio/XUXs) but it has its own USPs and it won't let you prove itself wrong in any of them.

Balenooo Big on style and easy on the wallet
5.0
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Sigma Petrol(Petrol)
Four months and 5,500 km with my Baleno, and it's been a delight. Sleek LED DRLs and sharp styling turn heads, while the cabin feels a class above. The 1.2L DualJet engine is buttery smooth in city traffic and relaxed on highways. SmartPlay touchscreen is lag-free, and the light steering makes parking effortless. Mileage is the real hero — 16-17 km/l in city, 21-22 km/l on highway runs. Boot space could be bigger, but that's my only gripe. Comfort, features, and fuel efficiency in one package — the Baleno nails the premium hatchback formula. Zero regrets!

Driving Experience Tata Harrier XT Dark Edition Diesel Since 2021
5.0
Tata Harrier Fearless X Plus AT Dark(Diesel)
I have been driving a Tata Harrier XT Dark Edition (Diesel) since 2021 and have covered around 76,000 km. Sharing my experience based on driving across highways, cities, and several trips to the Himalayas, including challenging terrains in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Leh-Ladakh.
The Harrier has a powerful engine, delivers good mileage, and offers excellent pickup. Both the front and rear seats are very comfortable, with ample legroom for passengers. The boot space is sufficient for 4–5 medium-sized trolleys or travel bags, making it an excellent choice for long road trips. The suspension setup is also very good and handles rough roads and mountain terrain comfortably.
One area where I felt the vehicle lagged initially was the infotainment software, but Tata has significantly improved it in the newer versions. Being a diesel vehicle, there is some engine noise, but it is not excessive. The steering felt slightly heavy in my version, although I am not sure whether this has been improved in the latest models.
Tata's service experience has generally been good. The service teams listen to customer concerns and work to resolve issues. Occasionally, there may be some challenges at the service center level, but with proper follow-up, the issues are usually addressed satisfactorily.
Overall, despite being a 2WD vehicle, I have never faced any major issues while driving across different terrains, including mountainous regions. It has proven to be a reliable, comfortable, and capable companion for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.

The Sweet Spot in the Compact SUV
4.0
Tata Nexon 1.2 Revotron Smart Plus 5MT(Petrol)
The Tata Nexon continues to impress with its bold styling, feature-rich cabin, and strong safety credentials. With a 5-star Global NCAP rating, peppy turbo-petrol and diesel engine options, and a well-sorted suspension, the Nexon offers a compelling package for first-time SUV buyers. A few interior quality niggles aside, it remains one of the best value-for-money picks in the segment.

Maruti Suzuki 2025 New Dzire VXI MT CNG(Petrol+CNG)
I've been driving the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire for about six months now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best buying decisions I've made. I upgraded from a 2019 Dzire, and the improvement across every parameter is genuinely impressive.
Exterior & Design
The new Dzire has grown up. The sharper front fascia with the sleek LED DRL strip, the cleaner body lines, and the well-proportioned boot give it a more premium, almost European feel. It no longer looks like it's trying too hard — it just looks right. Gets plenty of compliments in the parking lot.
Interior & Comfort
Step inside and you immediately notice the quality jump. The all-black cabin with silver accents feels cohesive and upmarket. The seats are well-bolstered for long highway runs, and rear passenger space is genuinely generous for a sub-4-metre car. My 6-foot father-in-law sits comfortably in the back — that says a lot.
Infotainment & Features
The 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen is smooth, responsive, and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without any lag. The 360-degree surround-view camera is a game-changer for tight city parking. Ventilated front seats on the top variant are a blessing during Indian summers — this alone is worth the upgrade.
Performance & Fuel Efficiency
The 1.2L Z-series engine paired with the AMT gearbox is a joy in stop-and-go traffic. The AMT has gotten noticeably smarter — gear hunting is minimal compared to older iterations. On the highway, the car cruises effortlessly at 100–110 km/h. Real-world fuel efficiency? I'm consistently seeing 19–21 km/l on the highway and around 15–16 km/l in the city, which is outstanding.

The Pinnacle of Entry Level Premium Electric SUVs with Exceptional Safety and Comfort
4.0
Tata Harrier EV Empowered 75 QWD ACFC(Electric)
Driving the Harrier.EV is a genuine pleasure, thanks to its brilliant driving dynamics, striking aesthetics, and impeccable structural safety. It represents a phenomenal package for anyone seeking luxury-class presence. Despite these magnificent hardware strengths, the software ecosystem requires urgent refinement. We have encountered frustrating electronic inconsistencies, including bugs in both the camera system and the instrument cluster display. Experiencing these digital flaws is highly disappointing in a 30 lakh rupee automobile, particularly when budget cars costing half as much offer far superior electronic quality and seamless optimization. Compounding this is a disappointing sales and customer support experience that fell significantly short of expectations. While the core machine is brilliant, the software and dealer network need to match its price tag.

Perfect Balance of Safety Style and Comfort in Compact SUV
4.0
Tata Punch Pure Plus S(Petrol)
I recently drove the new Tata Punch facelift mid variant and overall I am impressed with the package Tata is offering. The updated design looks much more premium now, especially the front DRLs and connected rear lights. The car has a strong road presence despite being compact.
The mid model feels value for money because it offers most of the useful features needed for daily driving. The cabin quality has improved and the touchscreen, steering controls and rear AC vents make the experience better for family use. Ride quality is comfortable and the suspension handles bad roads very well.
Safety is one of the biggest highlights of the Punch. High ground clearance and confident driving feel make it suitable for both city and highway use. Mileage is decent and maintenance should also remain affordable.
Only thing I feel could improve is engine refinement during quick acceleration, but overall the Tata Punch facelift mid variant is a practical, stylish and safe compact SUV for Indian roads.

The Iconic Electric G-Class
5.0
Mercedes-Benz G 580 EV SUV(Electric)
The electric version of the legendary G-Class SUV. It keeps the classic boxy design while adding modern electric technology. The SUV is powered by four electric motors, producing around 579 horsepower. This setup provides excellent acceleration and precise control on any terrain. The interior offers premium luxury with high-quality materials and the advanced MBUX infotainment system. Despite being electric, it maintains impressive off-road capabilities. The battery provides an estimated range of about 450–470 km. Features like G-Turn allow the vehicle to rotate almost on the spot. The G 580 EV combines luxury, performance, and sustainability. Overall, it proves that the iconic G-Class can successfully enter the electric era.

Tata Harrier Adventure(Diesel)
After driving the Tata Harrier for a few months, I can confidently say it’s a remarkable SUV for those who value style, comfort, and performance. The 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine delivers excellent power and a smooth driving experience, whether in the city or on highways. The Harrier’s suspension is well-tuned, offering a stable and comfortable ride even on rough roads.
Inside, the Harrier impresses with its spacious and premium cabin. The soft-touch materials, large infotainment system, and ergonomic design give it a luxurious feel. The seats are well-cushioned and provide excellent support, making long drives enjoyable. Rear seat space is generous, with ample legroom and headroom, making it ideal for families. The large boot space further adds to its practicality.
The Harrier’s bold and aggressive design stands out on the road, giving it a commanding presence. Its robust build quality enhances confidence in its safety, backed by features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP.
However, the Harrier has a few downsides. It lacks a 4x4 option, which might disappoint off-road enthusiasts. Additionally, the infotainment system, though feature-rich, could be more intuitive. Compared to rivals like the Jeep Compass, it offers less refined driving dynamics but compensates with better interior space and pricing.
Overall, the Tata Harrier is a great choice for those seeking a stylish, comfortable, and spacious SUV. It strikes an excellent balance between value and performance, making it a strong contender in its segment.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXI [2020-2025](Petrol)
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a practical and reliable MPV, perfect for families. Its spacious cabin, comfortable seating for seven, and decent boot space make it ideal for long trips petrol engine delivers smooth performance and good mileage, making it economical. However, the third-row seating can feel cramped for adults, and the interiors, though functional, lack the premium feel compared to rivals like the Kia Carens. While the features like SmartPlay infotainment and rear AC vents add value, some advanced safety features are missing. Overall, the Ertiga is a great family car with room for improvement.

Jimny is an excellent compact SUV for off-road advanturebut not for daily ride Its rugged design, 4x4 capabilities, and compact size make it perfect for challenging trails and narrow terrains. Maruti Suzuki Jimny Alpha AT(Petrol)
it’s great for off-road adventures, it has its limitations. The compact size is ideal for narrow trails but feels a bit cramped for passengers, especially in the rear seats. The boot space is minimal, making it challenging for longer trips or family use.
While the 1.5-liter petrol engine performs well off-road with its 4x4 system, it lacks the punch on highways and struggles with overtaking. The interiors, though functional, feel dated compared to competitors like the Mahindra Thar or Force Gurkha, which offer a more premium and spacious cabin.
On the positive side, it’s easy to maneuver in urban settings and its rugged design has undeniable charm. However, if you're looking for a daily driver with practicality, you might want to consider other options. The Jimny is more of a niche vehicle than an all-rounder.

Mahindra Bolero B6 (O) [2020-2025](Diesel)
6 month of rchased the Mahindra Bolero, and it has been a reliable and rugged companion for daily drives and occasional long trips. The 2.5-liter m2DiCR diesel engine delivers excellent low-end torque, making it perfect for city traffic and rough rural roads. Its sturdy build quality and high ground clearance ensure it can handle uneven terrains effortlessly.
The interiors are simple yet practical, offering good space and comfort for passengers. The large boot space is a plus for family trips or transporting goods. While the features are basic compared to modern SUVs, it offers essentials like power steering and an easy-to-read instrument cluster, ensuring functionality over luxury.
When compared to competitors like the Tata Sumo Gold or Force Gurkha, the Bolero stands out for its affordability, durability, and low maintenance costs. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a tough, no-nonsense vehicle with long-term reliability.

Compass is ideal for those who prioritize performance
4.0
Jeep Compass Black Shark (O) Diesel MT(Diesel)
After driving the Jeep Compass for a few months, I’ve found it to be a solid choice for those who value performance, style, and rugged capability. The 2.0-liter diesel engine delivers impressive power, making city drives and highway cruises effortless. Its 4x4 system is a standout feature, handling rough terrains with ease and adding confidence for off-road enthusiasts.
Inside, the Compass offers a premium experience with high-quality materials and well-thought-out ergonomics. The touchscreen infotainment system is responsive, with seamless smartphone connectivity and an excellent sound system. The front seats provide great support and comfort for long drives, while features like dual-zone climate control and ample boot space add practicality.
On the outside, the Compass commands attention with its rugged design and robust build quality. It’s a vehicle that combines style with substance, exuding confidence on the road.
However, it’s not without flaws. The rear seats lack sufficient legroom for taller passengers, which might be a downside for families. Additionally, its pricing is on the higher side, especially when compared to alternatives like the Tata Harrier or Hyundai Tucson, which offer similar features at a lower cost. Fuel efficiency is also average, which may not suit those prioritizing mileage.
Overall, the Compass is ideal for those who prioritize performance, off-road capability, and a premium driving experience. For me, it’s been worth the investment, offering a balanced mix of comfort, style, and ruggedness.

The removable doors and roof are a huge plus for anyone who loves open-air adventure it really sets the Wrangler apart. Toyota Fortuner 4X2 AT Diesel(Diesel)
The Toyota Fortuner remains a solid performer, striking a good balance between luxury and capability. Its muscular looks and bold design elements make it stand out, though some may feel its exterior styling has become a bit too familiar over time. Inside, the cabin offers a premium experience with comfortable seating and a decent infotainment system, though it lags behind rivals in terms of tech sophistication. The powerful 2.8-liter engine offers strong acceleration and handles rough terrain well, but the ride can feel firm and slightly bumpy, especially on uneven city roads. While the Fortuner’s robust build and high ground clearance are great for off-road adventures, maneuvering its large frame in tight city spaces can be challenging. Overall, it’s a reliable, go-anywhere SUV that excels in durability and ruggedness, but its luxury features may leave some wanting more given its price tag.

Tata Altroz XZ Plus Petrol(Petrol)
I really wanted to love my Tata Altroz, but the engine has been a real letdown. Right from the start, I noticed a sluggish response, especially when trying to pick up speed on highways. In city traffic, the engine feels jerky, making it hard to drive smoothly. There's also a noticeable engine noise that gets louder over time, which is frustrating on longer trips. I’ve also faced a few unexpected stalls, which is honestly a bit worrying. I love the design and features Tata has packed in here, but these engine problems are hard to overlook and really dampen the whole experience.
