The government of India pledged to go all-electric by 2030, and applauding this decision is the the India automobile industry as the 14th edition of the Auto Expo witnessed a plethora of electric concepts. But the one that caught our eye was the Renault Zoe E-Sport Concept, which is already on sale in most of the European countries. According to Renault, the Zoe electric car is perfect for the Indian market and will introduce it once proper ecosystem is built for sustaining electric cars in India.

Renault says that Renault Zoe e-Sport Concept is the fusion of a standard Renault Zoe and a Formula E Renault e.dams single seater, hence the sporty design. While electric cars are really boring to look at, the Renault Zoe e-Sport Concept gets satin blue bodywork inspired by the Renault e.dams single-seater livery, touches of yellow, C -Shape lighting signature, Renault diamond in the front, along with a vertical and back-lit treatment.

The Renault Zoe e-Sport Concept is built on a tubular chassis, created by TORK Engineering, fitted with "double-triangle" suspension at the front and rear, 20-inch wheels and Ohlins "four-way" adjustable shock absorbers allows the sporty electric car to do it's thing.

Talking about electric motors, the Renault Zoe e-Sport Concept features two engines using high capacity permanent magnet technology to achieve a total power of around 450 bhp. These engines are supplied by two batteries with a storage capacity of 40 kW that allow full power to be achieved. The driver can choose from four driving modes, depending on whether they prioritise sportiness or driving range. In addition, the air and water cooling system helps to maintain the correct temperature for the electronics and the batteries. This helps the Renault Zoe e-Sport Concept to reach 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 210 Km/h in under 10 seconds.
