Fully Electric Pininfarina K350 SUV Teased Ahead Of Debut


At the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, Pininfarina showcased the five-seater SUV K550 and the seven-seater SUV K750. Now, at the Beijing Motor Show, the Italian car design firm will showcase yet another fully electric four-seater K350 SUV that is developed for Hybrid Kinetic Group. The electric concept car will be unveiled together with H500 sedan on April 25. The H500 sedan was teased last week and is also a work by Pininfarina for HK Group.

The K350 electric SUV is the smallest and the most compact SUV from Pininfarina and has a very athletic design. Pininfarina has made use of the HK concept's drive system, with battery, electric motors, central control unit and range extender on the K350 electric SUV. The third SUV in Hybrid Kinetic Group's product portfolio, the K350 electric SUV is one of the six products designed by Pininfarina till date. While the previous SUVs were not electric, the K350 electric SUV will be an all-electric SUV and the company claims a shocking 1,000 kilometers of travel range on a single charge.

The H500 electric sedan on the other hand, will also come with the same powertrain as the electric SUV and carry the same mechanics. On the inside, the H500 electric sedan gets a digital instrument panel and digital screens for the front passenger.
The company will announce more details about both products at the global unveil in the last week of April.
