The TVS Jupiter 110 is the second most selling scooter in India after the Honda Activa. The model has time and again showed its prowess as a functional and no-nonsense offering, and buyers flock to TVS showrooms pan India to get bring the Jupiter home. The TVS Jupiter uses a 110 cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection that develops 7.4 bhp and 8.4 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a CVT unit. The scooter comes with TVS' patented Econometer - an Eco and Power Mode. There's also an LED headlamp, LED taillight, an updated instrument cluster, a two-litre open glovebox, a front USB charger, an external fuel lid, and 21-litre under-seat storage space. The arch-nemesis to the TVS Jupiter, the Honda Activa 6G does not need an introduction. There are enough and more going around and it's almost a stable addition to most homes across the country. That said, it did get a major overhaul last year with the BS6 update, sporting a new chassis from the Activa 125, while the 110 cc engine was thoroughly updated with new internal components to meet the emission regulations. It's also grown in proportions and now offers better seating space, enlarged floorboard and larger alloy wheels. It also gets telescopic forks up front. Power comes from the 109 cc engine with fuel injection that develops 7.6 bhp and 8.79 Nm of peak torque. Prices start from Rs. 69,080 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2. Hero Maestro Edge 110

The Hero Maestro Edge is the sporty 110 cc scooter from the Hero MotoCorp that looks funky and yet practical. The latest update brought new body graphics and colours, adding more vibrance to the model. The Maestro Edge impresses with its functionality and can seat two in comfort. It also gets alloy wheels, which are missed on the TVS Jupiter. Power comes from the 110.9 cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection that develops 8 bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. It's paired with a CVT unit. The kerb weight stands at 112 kg. The Maestro Edge 110 is priced from Rs. 64,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

3. Hero Pleasure+ 110

Another Hero offering the competes in this space. The Hero Pleasure+ arrived in 2018 with a big update that included the 110 cc motor along with cosmetic and feature upgrades. The new model looks younger, fresher and more stylish, while the feature list comprises USB charging socket, side stand indicator, low fuel indicator, LED boot lamp, and more. It also gets Hero Connect app compatibility. Power comes from the same 110 cc motor as the Maestro Edge that develops 8 bhp and 8.7 Nm. The Pleasure+ is more attractively priced with the range starting at Rs. 60,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) onwards.
