Renault Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol
Renault India introduced the new turbo-petrol version of the Duster compact SUV, and it's priced at Rs. 10.49 lakh to Rs. 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powered by an all-new 1.3-litre engine, the new motor and SUV were first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, and it went on sale in India in August 2020.
The new Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol range comes in three variants - RXE, RXS and RXZ, and it comes with several styling bits that differentiate it from the regular Duster that's powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine.
The Renault Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol comes with contrast red accents that can be seen on the grille and foglamp housing, these distinguish it from the regular model . However the basic design of the grille and front bumper remains unchanged.
The Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol also comes with all-black roof rails with the Duster lettering in red, and a similar red Duster logo on the tailgate on a new black applique.
With the launch of Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol, Renault has also launched this new Mahogany Brown colour, along with the six existing colour options, which include - Caspian Blue, Cayenne Orange, Moonlight Silver, Slate Grey, Outback Bronze, and Pearl White.
The Duster Turbo Petrol comes with a new 1.3-litre, four-cylinder BS6 turbo petrol motor, which is tuned to churn out 153 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Around 48 bhp and 108 Nm of peak torque more than its 1.5-litre petrol counterpart.
The Duster Turbo Petrol's 1.3-litre engine gets the option of a X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission alongside a six-speed manual transmission.
In terms of features it remains identical to the facelifted model. It is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully automatic climate control, illuminated and cooled glove-box among others.
Safety features will include - ABS with EBD, driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder & speed alert as standard, along with optional bits like - Reverse Parking Camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill-Start Assist.
