Tata Nexon EV
The Tata Nexon EV is the first fully electric SUV from the home-grown carmaker, and it's also the first vehicle to come with the new Ziptron electric vehicle powertrain technology.
The Nexon EV gets a new glossy black panel in place of a regular grille, flanked by new headlamps with projector lights and LED daytime running lamps.
The front bumper of the Nexon EV is all new and features the tri-star pattern grille with blue accents, beefier cladding and new foglamps.
The rear bumper is also new and gets beefy black cladding with a faux skid plate. The tailgate features the new Ziptron and EV badging, along with Nexon letting at the centre.
The Nexon EV comes in this new electric teal colour, while the dual tone treatment is offered with the top 2 variants.
The electric SUV comes with a set of 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a ground clearance of 205 mm.
The Tata Nexon EV also gets an updated cabin with new piano black treatment for the dashboard, a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a new part digital part analogue instrument cluster.
The Nexon EV features new white leatherette upholstery and matching interior door panels with tri-star pattern.
The Tata Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh Lithium-Ion battery that is liquid-cooled and IP67 certified. The battery can be charged up to 80 per cent in 60 mins using a fast charger while it will take 8 hours to do the same using a home charger.
The Tata Nexon EV will also come with a dedicated Battery Management System (BMS), and the entire setup is positioned underneath the car, thus offering the same cabin space as the regular model.
