Comes to India About 5 Months After Global Debut
BMW unveiled the X5 facelift for global markets earlier this year alongside its coupe derivative the X6. The SUV arrives in India about 5 months since it was revealed
Exterior Styling Changes
The updated X5 looks sleeker than the outgoing model with its slimmer headlamps, a tweaked grille and a new bumper with redesigned vents. At the rear too there are redesigned tail lamps and a new bumper
The X5 facelift gets a redesigned dashboard in line with newer BMWs. This includes a freestanding curved display housing a 12.3-inch digital instrument screen and a 14.9-inch touchscreen. There’s also a new toggle switch-based gear selector and revised control surfaces on the centre console
Interior Changes
Engine Line-up
The global models received a line-up of updated six and eight-cylinder engines and plug-in hybrid powertrains. For India however, we only expect the SUV to be offered with the familiar 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel mills

The X5 facelift will go up against the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7 and the Volvo XC90
