Hyundai Santa Fe undergoes radical transformation!

Entering its fifth generation, the Hyundai Santa Fe takes a more traditional approach to design and styling with an upright stance and butch persona. Read on for more details.
First pictures reveal shocking design evolution
The new Santa Fe ditches the rounded, generic shape of its predecessor and adopts a boxy design that is reminiscent of the Defenders and Escalades of the world.
Longer than outgoing Santa Fe
Hyundai has confirmed the new Santa Fe’s wheelbase is longer than that of the outgoing model, which has a 2,765 mm wheelbase.
Blocky design theme continues inside
The Santa Fe’s interior features a Land Rover-esque three-spoke steering wheel, curved dual display setup housing two 12.3-inch screens, and two wireless charging pads.
Specifications under wraps, but…
The Santa Fe in the press images wears the 2.5T badge, denoting the presence of the 2.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine. Full specifications to be revealed in August.
