India’s cheapest compact EV is now available at a very friendly price tag
Did you know that the cheapest electric car in the Indian market has officially launched?
PMV, an EV start-up from Mumbai, has launched the vehicle at just ₹ 4.79 lakh and the micro-car is called the EaS-E. There are three variants in total
The price tag is for the base 120 km variant. The 160 km and 200 km variants are priced at ₹ 6.79 lakh and ₹ 7.79 lakh respectively
The company was founded in 2018 and has now launched India’s very first micro-car with capacity for two occupants. It has already garnered 6,000 bookings with the introductory price
Deliveries will be around mid-2023 according to the company. There is a 50,000 km or three-year warranty. The company also claims running costs of merely 75 paise per kilometre
The car has 13-inch alloy wheels with a motor that makes 13 hp and 50 Nm. It has a top speed of 70 kmph, with full charge being possible in just four hours
