The Tata Nexon has been one of the more popular offerings in the sub- 4 metre SUV segment, and all for good reasons. In the last three years, Tata Motors has produced over 1.5 lakh units of the Nexon in India, and that shows how popular it has become. It offered several modern creature comforts along with one of the most spacious cabins in the segment, and to top it all, the Nexon also became the first car in India to bag the 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, which only added to its volume growth. Earlier this year, Tata decided to kick things a notch higher with the introduction of a more feature-packed mid-life facelift, with BS6 compliant engines. We got to review the petrol version of the SUV, and in addition to it being a cleaner engine, it is now also a more powerful motor.
