The Performance variant of the Model Y gets some useful improvements, some even to its powertrain & tech departments. Here’s a quick rundown.
The Model Y Performance AWD variant now gets 460 bhp dual motors, 0-96 kmph in 3.3s & adaptive damping suspension. Its new high-density battery offers 580 km range, with a top speed of 250 kmph.
On the outside, the Model Y Performance has larger 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 forged wheels, sportier front & rear bumpers, a carbonfibre rear spoiler, & red brake callipers.
The Model Y Performance features ventilated sports seats with power adjust & under-thigh support, heated rear seats with power recline, & carbon fibre trim replacing the standardfabric finish.
The touchscreen is also upgraded, now standing at 16 inches in the Performance. It also gets some model-specific drive modes to adjust the level of performance.
