The new Hilux gets a layered fascia, slim headlamps with Toyota lettering, & a bold grille :open for ICE, closed for EV. It sports squared arches, vertical LED tail lamps, & a Double Cab body.
The Hilux cabin mirrors modern Toyota SUVs with dual screens, sleek AC vents with LED display, & physical controls. It offers electrically assisted power or hydraulic steering depending on the market.
Key features include twin 12.3-inch displays, ventilated front seats, dual-zone AC, & plenty of ADAS tech
The first Hilux EV gets a 59.2 kWh battery with dual motors, 205 Nm front & 269 Nm rear, offering up to 240 kms range. It’ll also have 2.7-litre petrol & 2.8-litre diesel (48V mild-hybrid) options
Toyota has said that production of the new Hilux will commence with the BEV at the end of the year with sales of the internal combustion models to start by mid 2026
