The electric SUV was launched in India in February 2025, & has since been available for the same prices.
Although BYD hasn’t mentioned the quantum of the hike, the price increment will come into effect starting January 1, 2026
BYD has not shared the reason behind the price hike but we believe it is in line with the auto industry’s trend of increasing prices at the start of a new year
Currently, the BYD Sealion 7 is priced at Rs. 48.90 lakh for the Premium variants, & Rs.54.90 lakh for the top-spec Performance trim (both ex-showroom).
BYD says the current prices will stay valid for all bookings made till on or before December 31, 2025.
BYD Sealion 7 uses an 82.56 kWh battery in both trims – RWD Premium with 308 bhp &AWD Performance with 523 bhp – offering 587 km and 542 km range respectively.
