Ducati Issues A Recall For Some Models In India

Details Of Affected Units

Ducati India has recalled 393 units of the Panigale V4 (2018–2024) & Streetfighter V4(2018–2025) after identifying potential issues affecting these models

Reason

The motorcycles are being recalled over a potential defect in the rear wheel axle of the single-sided swingarm.

Ducati India’s Approach

Ducati India has confirmed that the brand is in touch with customers who own the models with the affected vehicle identification numbers (VINs).

First Reported Incident

The first & only reported failure occurred in September 2023, followed by further cases in November 2023, all outside the US, prompting Ducati’s internal safety commission to review &monitor the issue.

Launch Of The Recall Campaign

On August 26, 2025, Ducati’s internal safety commission initiated a global recall campaign to address the issue after reviewing investigation findings & sample data from the affectedmodels.
