All three bikes use 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engines with 5-speed gearboxes. The CB125 Hornet makes 11 bhp and 11.2 Nm, edging out the Hero Xtreme 125R’s 10.5 Nm and matching the standard Raider's torque.
The Honda CB125 Hornet is 1 kg heavier than the Raider and 12 kg lighter than the Hero Xtreme 125R. It also has the tallest seat, 16 mm higher than the Raider and 2 mm above the Xtreme
The CB125 Hornet is the only one with USD forks, while the others use telescopic ones; allget rear monoshocks, but only the Raider's is adjustable. The Hornet shares front tyre and disc size with the Raider, has a mid-sized rear tyre, & all three use identical rear drum brakes
All three bikes get full LED lighting, while the Hornet and Raider offer TFT displays with Bluetooth; the Raider also adds voice commands. The Xtreme 125R uses a simpler LCD but still includes Bluetooth connectivity.
While CB125 Hornet’s prices will be out on August 1, the Raider is priced from Rs 87,000 to Rs 1.02 lakh. The Xtreme 125R costs Rs 98,500 and Rs 1.02 lakh.
