Honda has launched the new CB300F flex-fuel version that runs on 85 per cent ethanol. Here's what you need to know.
The Honda CB300F FlexTech was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The engine has been optimised to run on an ethanol-gasoline mixture, with up to 85 per cent ethanol.
Visually, the CB300F FlexTech gets no change over the standard version. It does sport a green decal on the tank cover with FlexTech written on it.
The instrument console stays the same barring the addition of an ethanol indicator which glows when the vehicle is filled with an ethanol-gasoline blend.
The bike runs on the same 293.53 cc single-cylinder engine, now compliant with up to E85 fuel. The motor churns out 24.5 bhp and 25.9 Nm, marginally higher than the standard version.
The new Honda CB300F FlexTech is priced at ₹ 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), which is same as the standard petrol version.
