Honda Recalls Motorcycles Between 300-350 cc In India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has issued a voluntary recall for its 300-350 cc motorcycles including the CB300F, CB300R, CB350, H’ness CB350, and CB350RS. Here’s why

Honda Voluntary Recall

Honda has issued a voluntary recall to address key issues, the wheel speed sensor and the camshaft components in select models.

Wheel Speed Sensor Issue

The issue involves an improper mouldin process during manufacturing which may lead to water seeping into the sensor and causing it to malfunction, affecting the accuracy of the speedometer, traction control and ABS functions.

Camshaft Component Issue

The CB350, H’ness CB350, and CB350RS also face the camshaft issue, which could potentially affect the performance and particularly affects units manufactured between June and July 2024.

Honda To Replace Defective Components

Regardless of the warranty status, Honda will replace the components on the affected motorcycles free of cost. Customers will be informed by Honda’s BigWing dealers.

Honda Recall

The Honda motorcycles were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. The company has not confirmed the number of models affected by the recall.
