Kia has revealed its first-ever pick-up truck, the new Tasman. Here’s all you need to know about the Toyota Hilux rival.
The new-gen Kia Tasman pickup is built on an all-new platform and will be sold in single and double cab guises.
The Kia Tasman gets a boxy and utilitarian design with rectangular vertically oriented headlamps, outlined by C-shaped DRLs. The tiger nose grille grows in size on the pickup.
The Tasman will get four cargo bed configurations: Single Decker, Double Decker, Sports Bar, and Ladder Rack. The cargo bed can carry a maximum payload of 1,195 kg.
The Tasman will have a 2.5-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. It will also get 3 driving modes, terrain modes, ADAS, and more.
The new Tasman is destined for different markets like South Korea, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. However, the automaker has yet to confirm if the model will make it to India.
