A year after debuting its Electric Origin SUVs, Mahindra has launched the XEV 9S 7-seatSUV, which is its largest EV yet & third model based on the dedicated EV platform
Mahindra has priced it in the range of ₹19.95 lakh to ₹29.45 lakh (introductory ex-showroom).
It looks similar to the combustion-engined XUV700 as it adopts the same silhouette.However, it gets styling touches akin to the XEV 9e.
The XEV 9S offers 59 kWh, 70 kWh & 79 kWh battery packs with 228 bhp or 282 bhpmotors, both making 380 Nm
Top features include powered Boss Mode, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, triple-screen setup, 7 airbags, Level-2 ADAS, & even a 360-degree camera.
Test drives of the XEV 9S will begin on December 5, with bookings set to open on January14 & deliveries to commence on January 23.
