The exports to Europe have commenced after the electric SUV’s production was kicked off recently.
2,900 units of the SUV have been shipped from Pipavav Port in Gujarat to 12 European countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Iceland,Austria, and Belgium.
As per Maruti Suzuki, the e Vitara is slated to be exported to more than 100 countries around the world
The electric SUV is now likely to be introduced in our market in early 2026.
The e Vitara’s production began on August 26, 2025 at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant in Gujarat & it was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance along with Suzuki Motor Corporation President Toshihiro Suzuki.
Maruti Suzuki will offer it with two battery packs: 49 kWh & 61 kWh in India. It’s stated to offer a claimed range of over 500 kms.
