The e Vitara will be produced at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant in Gujarat, & the first batch will be exported to the UK, where it is currently on sale starting from £29,999 (around ₹35 lakh)
The made-in-India electric SUV, which is also Maruti Suzuki’s first-ever EV, is scheduled to be exported to more than 100 countries, including the UK
After debuting at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the e Vitara was first reported to be launched in May 2025, but as per Maruti Suzuki’s previous earnings call, its sales will now commence in September
Key features on board will include ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, & Level-2 ADAS.
The e Vitara will be offered with 49 kWh & 61 kWh battery options with up to 428 kms of range. Power ranges from 142 bhp to 172 bhp with front-wheel drive.
