Following Maruti Suzuki’s recent round of updating most of its cars with six airbags as standard, the same safety revision has now been rolled out to the XL6 MPV
Prior to this update, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 was offered with four airbags from the basevariant
With the safety update, the carmaker has increased the prices of the MPV by 0.8 percent, although the revised price range is yet to be updated on Nexa’s website.
Maruti Suzuki had recently given the same safety update to some other models, including the Baleno and Ertiga, to bring them in line with the soon-to-be introduced rule of six airbags asstandard.
Cars such as the S-Presso, Ignis, Fronx and Ciaz are the only other offerings from the carmaker which don’t have six airbags as standard yet.
It’s only the Fronx from these four models that will be updated with the safety revision soon. All other cars are likely to be retired in the near future.
