The hard-top sibling to the CLE 300 Cabriolet arrives in hot AMG guise with a twin-turboin-line six engine under the bonnet.
Mercedes-Benz will reveal the price of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe in India on August 12.
Differences over the CLE Cabriolet include a flowing roofline, the Panamericana grille,sharper front and rear bumpers, and a quad exhaust setup
It gets AMG sport seats, AMG steering wheel, and sportier trim inserts. Other highlights include five driving programs and AMG-specific graphics for the digital displays.
It has an AMG-tuned 3.0-litre turbocharged engine (442 bhp/ 560 Nm). The torque can be temporarily boosted to 600 Nm for 12 seconds via an over-boost function. The unit also benefits from a 48V mild-hybrid system.
With the CLE 300 already priced around Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom), expect the AMG CLE 53 Coupe to be positioned upwards of Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom).
