The first electric Maybach — EQS 680 — has the largest battery pack amongst all EVs in India!
Mercedes-Benz is on a roll when it comes to launching EVs in India, as the Maybach EQS 680 SUV follows the baby EQA to our market. Mercedes-EQ is also launching another EV in India before the year ends.
At over 5.1 metres long, the Maybach EQS SUV is a huge EV, featuring a massive closed-off grille up front, a curvy EQ-esque body style for better aerodynamics, and a plethora of Maybach logos.
Being a Maybach, customers can select pretty much any colour they want for their Maybach EQS SUV. As standard, it is offered in 6 metallic paint schemes, 5 characteristic Maybach dual-tone paint schemes and a couple of “Manufaktur” paint schemes.
The EQS 680 gets a Nappa Leather upholstery with a choice of two colours - brown or white. Rear row also gets a choice of either standard seats or "First Class Seats", for the ultimate Maybach experience
Top tech features include a 56-inch ‘hyperscreen’, 790W Burmeister premium sound system, a refrigerator, rear infotainment screens, a tablet-like controller, augmented reality navigation, and more.
Despite weighing nearly 3.6 tonnes, the EQS 680 can do a 0–100 kmph sprint in just 4.4 seconds, thanks to a dual-motor, 640 bhp & 950 Nm torque powertrain.
At 122 kWh, the EQS 680 gets the largest battery pack of any EV on sale in India, returning a range of just over 600 kms on a single charge.
The EQS 680 can support charging speeds of up to 200 kW, and should you find a supercharger with such high speeds, it can be charged for a range of up to 300 kms in just 20 minutes!
