The Windsor EV was launched in India in October 2024 & has attracted a lot of attention from new EV buyers
MG stated that its latest EV has crossed the 50,000-unit sales milestone in slightly over a year (400 days) since its India launch.
MG’s Battery-as-a-Service plan lets buyers lower the upfront cost by subscribing to the battery separately, helping improve the model’s overall market performance.
In October 2025, MG launched the Windsor Inspire Edition, limited to 300 units with blacked-out trim & red cabin accents. It was priced at ₹16.65 lakh, or ₹9.99 lakh with the BaaS plan
In May 2025, MG introduced the Windsor Pro with a larger 52.9 kWh battery, up from 38kWh, raising the claimed range to 449 km versus the standard model’s 331 km.
The Windsor Pro also includes a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner.
