The rising air pollution and concerns around it among consumers have prompted a lot of carmakers to offer factory-fitted car air purifiers. If you too are looking for a car with this feature, here are some of the most affordable cars that get it.
While earlier Hyundai Venue offered a detachable air purifier, now, you can get the SUV with an integrated unit from the SX (O) variant and above. Prices begin at ₹ 12.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Kia Sonet also gets an inbuilt air purifier but with a HEPA filter as well. You get it from HTX+ variant and above. The least expensive Sonet HTX+ equipped with air purifier is priced at ₹ 12.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Nexon received an air purifier with a dust sensor. It can be had in the top Fearless variant which retails for Rs 12.50 lakh. The Nexon EV also gets a purifier in the top Empowered variant with prices starting at ₹ 17.84 lakh (both ex-showroom).
The new-gen sedan received an air purifier in its features arsenal earlier this year. It is available in the SX (O) variant which is priced from ₹ 14.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
The MG Hector also gets a PM2.5 filter with AQI readouts for the cabin air quality. It is available from the Sharp Pro variant onwards. The price start at ₹ 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Tata Harrier and Safari now also get air purifier as part of the latest updates. You can get it from the Adventure+ variant of the SUVs, from ₹ 21.69 lakh and ₹ 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
