Mercedes-Benz India is all set to introduce the new-generation E-Class next month. Here's when the model is scheduled to arrive.
The new-gen E-Class will arrive on October 9, 2024. The latest iteration of the sedan made its global debut last year and will specifically arrive in the long-wheelbase guise in India.
The new E-Class is 18 mm longer, 15 mm of which has gone into extending the wheelbase. It is also 20 mm wider than its predecessor. This results in better rear-seat legroom and reclining seats.
The new E-Class also gets the Superscreen from the S-Class with a digital instrument console, a vertical infotainment unit and a third screen for the front passenger.
The new-gen E-Class will arrive with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options, paired with an automatic transmission.
The new-gen E-Class will take on the recently launched new BMW 5 Series that is now also available in the long-wheelbase guise in India.
