After introducing the CNG option with the manual variants of the SUV, Nissan is now offering the AMT variants with the greener fuel alternative, although as a retro fitment at dealerships.
The CNG kit is available for a premium of ₹72,000 on the AMT variants of the Nissan Magnite. Prices of the AMT variants range from ₹6.16 lakh to ₹8.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
The CNG filling valve is now integrated within the existing fuel-filling lid, replacing the earlier engine-compartment placement.
The CNG retrofitted Magnite will get a 3-year/ 1 lakh kms warranty & will be offered in 13states, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, & Chhattisgarh
The 5-speed AMT option on the SUV is available with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine that makes 71 bhp & 96 Nm.
The CNG tank has a capacity of 12 kg in a single-cylinder layout, while fuel efficiency is expected to remain similar to manual, ranging from 24 km/kg in the city & 30 km/kg on the highway.
