Nissan’s Renault Triber-based MPV Gets A Name

Called the Gravite, it comes almost seven years after its donor vehicle went on sale in our market.

It will be based on the same CMF-A+ architecture as its Renault cousin & will be manufactured at Renault's facility in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu.

Teaser images show the Gravite retains the new Triber’s clamshell bonnet & LED tail-lamps, but adds new headlights, a honeycomb grille, C-shaped bumper inserts, & fresh alloys ontop trims

Powertrain Options

The Nissan Gravite could get a 1.0-litre NA petrol making 71 bhp & 96 Nm, paired with 5-speed MT or AMT, with a dealer-fit CNG kit likely on offer.

Debut & Launch

Nissan will be unveiling the Gravite in January 2026, followed by its launch in March 2026

Expected Prices

It’s expected to have a starting price of around Rs 6 lakh, with the range likely to top outat around Rs 9 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom)
