The Bengaluru-based EV maker has announced the provision of the extended warranty for both new bookings & existing owners.
An 8-year/80,000 kilo metre extended warranty program has been introduced for the battery & motor of the River Indie
The extended warranty programme rolls out from October 1, 2025. Customers with a 5-year package can upgrade within a one-month window.
The new plan is available to customers owning the EV since April 1, 2025 for ₹ 8,399 +GST & customers with an existing 5-year extended warranty for ₹3,399 + GST.
River says the 8 years/80,000 km extended warranty ensures protection if the battery’sstate of health drops below 70 per cent or if the motor becomes non-functional even afterrepair.
The River Indie has been an impressive electric scooter for the car&bike team & had evenwon the coveted Scooter of the Year Award at the car&bike Awards 2024.
