Royal Enfield seems to be readying a rally-prepped version of the Himalayan 450 and the latest spy shots give a closer look at the upcoming motorcycle.
The upcoming Himalayan Rally has been spotted testing for the first time complete with ‘Rally’ stickers on the rear panel, cross-spoked tubeless tyres and a rally tail cowl.
The test mule is also fitted with knuckle guards and a rally-specific exhaust system.
The upcoming Himalayan Rally is expected to come with a fully adjustable suspension with longer travel and better braking performance. The bike is also likely to get dual-purpose tyres.
The Himalayan Rally will retain the 452 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine but could be tuned differently for different performance over the standard version.
Royal Enfield has not disclosed details about the launch of the new Himalayan Rally. The bike could be showcased in the coming weeks with the launch likely sometime next year.
