Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based EV start-up, is working on a new family-oriented electric scooter as patent images of the upcoming electric scooter have appeared on theinternet
The upcoming scooter to feature a conventional design with smooth lines, split LED headlamp, short windscreen, flat floorboard, bench seat with backrest, & 10-inch star-shaped alloy wheels
The scooter is likely based on a modified One/OneS platform with telescopic front forks &rear monoshock. It’s expected to get disc brakes at both ends, with a possible drum setup forthe rear.
It is expected to be unveiled sometime in the second half of 2026.
Going by the new family-oriented scooter’s form, it will most likely go up against the likes of the Hero Vida VX2, Ather Rizta, & the TVS iQube
Simple Energy currently retails two sporty-looking electric scooters: the One & the OneS
