As a way to further boost sales of two of its popular EVs, Tata is now offering lifetimebattery warranty to owners of the Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45. The Nexon EV with the 30 kWhbattery is not covered
As per Tata, the lifetime battery warranty will be rolled out for both new buyers andexisting owners, although it will be applicable only to privately owned vehicles.
The Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 aren’t the first models to come with this benefit. It was theHarrier EV with which the carmaker introduced the lifetime battery warranty option.
The lifetime battery warranty stretches up to 15 years only, that is the maximumregistration period for a private vehicle
Tata Motors has also announced loyalty benefits of up to Rs 50,000 to existing Tata EVowners looking to buy the Nexon EV and/or the Curvv EV.
Tata is currently offering benefits of up to Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.41 lakh for the Curvv EVand Nexon EV, respectively, for their unsold 2024 model year units.
