In a limited-time offering, the British marque is offering a big warranty upgrade for the Scrambler 400 X buyers in India. Find out more details ahead.
Customers picking the Triumph 400 X, the two-wheeler manufacturer has extended its standard warranty coverage of 2 years/unlimited kilometres to a 5-year standard +5-year extended warranty, resulting in a 10-year package. Do note that this upgraded package will be available only till the end of May 2025.
Triumph recently introduced a new Lava Red Satin shade for the Scrambler 400 X. It had also hiked the motorcycle's price by a marginal Rs 758, effecting its revised price to be Rs 2,67,207.
It gets the same set of features as before, including standard switchable traction control, ride-by-wire, and dual-channel ABS from Bosch, which is switchable.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X comes with the same 398 cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine as the Speed 400, in the same state of tune. It makes 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, and is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a torque assist clutch.
Triumph will soon be introducing the Scrambler 400 XC, a derivative of the Scrambler 400 C. According to recent spy shots, the Scrambler 400 XC will get an array of additional cosmetic tweaks that give it a more robust appearance. The motorcycle, however, is expected to largely remain the same on the technical front and be powered by the same engine as the Scrambler 400 X.
