Expected Launch :
2025-03-19
Expected Price
1.05 - 1.2 Lakh

What's New?

Suzuki has been working on its first electric offering for a while now and is likely to be called e-Burgman. Based on the petrol-powered Burgman Street 125 maxi-styled scooter, the e-scooter will mark Suzuki Motorcycles India's entry into the Indian EV two-wheeler market. The vehicle has been spotted on a few occasions already, giving a sneak peek of what is in store before its official launch. As of now, Suzuki has been tight-lipped regarding any information related to the e-scooter.

While the technical specifications of the Burgman Street Electric are yet to be revealed, it will share a good bunch of components with its internal combustion derivative. Once launched, we expect it comes around as a tough competitor to other EV models like the TVS iQube and the Bajaj Chetak. Similar to its rivals, it will feature Bluetooth connectivity for pairing with smartphones and turn-by-turn navigation updates. Whether or not Suzuki provides the e-Burgman with fast charging or battery-swapping functionality remains to be seen.

In terms of competition, once launched the Suzuki e-Burgman will go up against the likes of TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Simple Energy One, Ola S1, Okaya Faast F3, and BGauss D15.

Other Upcoming Suzuki Models are the GSX-8R and SV 650
