The Boreal has been developed particularly for markets outside of Europe. It is based onthe company’s new ultra-flexible Kardian platform.
It is more than 4.5 metres long and has a width of 1.84 metres. Renault has given it awheelbase of 2,700 mm and a ground clearance of 213 mm
The Boreal features all-LED lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, and body colour grille featuringa backlit NouvelR logo. Its cabin comes in two upholstery options with contrast stitching.
Key features on board include dual 10-inch screens, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, 48-colour ambient lighting, 24 Level-2 ADAS features, and a 360-degree camera.
The Boreal gets a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine in both petrol and flex-fuel formsdepending on the markets, generating up to 160 bhp and up to 270 Nm. The engine is mated toa 6-speed DCT.
