Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler arm Vida has launched its upgraded electric scooter range, which will now be called the ‘V2’. Here's what's new.
The Vida V2 is an upgraded versions based on the V1 electric scooter range. It is now available in three variants.
All three variants are powered by the same IP-68 rated 6 kW (8 bhp) PMS motor with of peak torque.
The Vida V2 Lite gets a single 2.2 kWh battery pack with a real-world range of 64 km. The V2 Plus gets two 1.72 kWh batteries 100 km range, while the V2 Pro gets two 3.94 kWh battery packs with 114 km range.
Prices start at ₹96,000, going up to ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Vida V2 will take on the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and the like.
