Aprilia Tuono 457

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is expected to be the second model based on the 457 platform, which saw the launch of the made-in-India Aprilia RS 457 sportbike in 2023. The Tuono 457 will likely be based on the same engine and frame as the RS 457. With identical engine and cycle components, the Tuono 457 is expected to feature a 457cc parallel-twin engine delivering 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm of torque, along with inverted forks and a monoshock suspension setup. Additionally, the Tuono 457 may come equipped with a TFT screen offering ride modes and Bluetooth connectivity, distinguishing it from its direct competitor, the Yamaha MT-03.

Based on the spy images, the Tuono 457 is poised to provide more relaxed ergonomics, featuring a flatter one-piece handlebar, unified saddle, and neutral-set footpegs. Similar to other Tuono models in Aprilia's lineup, this one is expected to showcase minimal body panels, revealing more mechanical elements, potentially with tank extensions, a belly pan, and a compact tail section. With the RS 457 weighing 175 kg kerb, the Turno is likely to be lighter, resulting in an even better power-to-weight ratio. Additionally, the test mule bike displayed a round headlamp, which may be swapped for Aprilia's distinctive signature headlamp design. The tail lamp featured a twin-pod lamp flanked by a split-type grab rail.
