Tata Aria-Based 'Hexa' SUV Unveiled at 2015 Geneva Motor Show

Tata Motors, the home-grown automajor, has unveiled a new SUV concept - the Hexa at the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The concept is based on the Aria platform and features a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, VARICOR diesel unit that is good for 154bhp and 400Nm.

    Tata Motors, the home-grown automajor, has unveiled a new SUV concept - the Hexa at the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The concept is based on the Aria platform and features a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, VARICOR diesel unit that is good for 154bhp and 400Nm. The car is 4764mm long, 1895mm wide, 1780mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2850mm.

    While the overall shape of the concept looks very similar to the existing Aria, Tata has added new projector headlamps, new honeycomb grille, newly designed fog lamps and redesigned airdam.

    The rear too looks sportier with new LED tail-lamps, new bumper in dual-tone paint scheme, spoiler etc. The car also gets newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels.

    The cabin too looks different with 6-seat configuration with captain seats, plusher leather seats with twin-needle stitching and some other new features.

    Tata Motors is also showcasing a more powerful version of the Bolt at the show.
