Philippines is the new market for Tata Motors

The company plans to commence its business in Philippines with exports of its cars including Manza, Vista, Indigo, Indica from its passenger vehicle segment, while the Xenon, Ace and Super Ace from its commercial vehicle portfolio.

    Today at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2014, Tata Motors announced its entry into the Philippines market. The company plans to commence its business in Philippines with exports of its cars including Manza, Vista, Indigo, Indica from its passenger vehicle segment, while the Xenon, Ace and Super Ace from its commercial vehicle portfolio. Tata Motors has appointed PilipinasTajAutogroup Inc., as its distributor in Philippines.

    Mr. R T Wasan, Head, International Business - Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, said, "Philippines is one of the key markets for Tata Motors in the ASEAN Region. With Horizonext, we have embarked on a journey with a commitment to excite our customer globally and we look forward to unfold our strategy in Philippines for a deeper presence in this market across several product segments. To start with we have lined up the Xenon, the Super Ace and the Ace at MIAS based on our intense study and understanding of the customers and their requirements in Philippines."

    Tata Motos has put a range of its passenger and commercial vehicles at the Manila International Auto Sho. The company has put Tata Manza, Vista, Xenon, Ace and the Super Ace at its pavilion. Tata Motors today has presence is various countries across Europe, Latin America, Africa, Russia, Middle East, Asia and Australia. In the ASEAN region, the company already has its presence in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
