2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Unveiled

Mitsubishi, the Japanese carmaker, has unveiled the 2015 Lancer Evolution with minor exterior and interior updates. The sedan, which has been discontinued in most markets across the globe except the United States, will be launched only in the US.
The updated version of the sedan sports redesigned side mirrors with integrated turn signal and a new cup holder. The Lancer Evolution will be available in two trims - GSR and MR.

The base variant GSR will come equipped with automatic climate control, steering mounted audio and cruise controls, aerodynamically-enhanced rear diffuser, and FUSE hands-free link system along with USB, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and voice commands. It features a prominent rear deck lid spoiler, while the top-end variant MR gets a lower-profile rear lip spoiler.
The Evo GSR will be offered with a new Premium Package that includes a power sunroof, heated front seats with leather upholstery, sight and sound package, additional deadening material and few more. The top-end Evo MR trim gets some additional features such as rain-sensing wind-shield wipers, automatic headlights, colour-keyed heat extractor vents and additional chrome trim.

Furthermore, it has a 9-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system, auto dimming rear view mirror, additional sound deadening material and a passive entry system for the passengers. Powering the new Lancer Evolution is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine that generates a power of 291bhp and 406Nm of torque. a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift transmission will be two available options that transmit power to all four-wheels of the car.
