It is rumoured that the upcoming G-Class facelift might be the final version and will mark the end of an era. The diesel version will not have continuity in the range. Instead, it will be exclusively offered in petrol variants. The prototype caught testing, has a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine. It will be driven through an automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system.
It is anticipated that the new G-Class will feature subtle tweaks to its appearance, both on the front and rear profiles. It is expected to have a new grille design, revised bumper, and updates to the headlights and tail lights. The rear may receive minor updates like a tweaked bumper. Additionally, Mercedes might also introduce multiple new alloy wheel options.
