The 23-year-old Akhil Rabindra from Bengaluru finished in the top five in Race 2 of the FFSA French GT Championship at Paul Ricard in the Pro-Am category, driving the Aston Martin Vantage AMR.

Akhil Rabindra Bags A Finish In Top 5 In The 2020 FFSA French GT Championship Round 3

Bengaluru-based racer, Akhil Rabindra has signed up with Aston Martin Racing Academy for the 2020 season for the second consecutive year. The 24-year-old continues his association with the British factory racing team, having been the only Asian driver to be signed by the AMR Driver Academy in 2019. He is a part of the 12 elite drivers selected from across the globe, who will undergo training and assessment with the AMR team in the UK. The best performer gets the opportunity to sign a contract with the factory Aston Martin Racing Team as a junior driver in 2021.

Making India proud in motorsport, Bengaluru-born racer Akhil Rabindra finished fourth in the third race of the 2018 GT4 European Championship, held at Brands Hatch, UK. He is the only Indian racer to compete in the championship this year and finished fourth along with teammate Stephane Lemeret. The duo has teamed up with French Team 3Y Technology to drive in the GT4 European Series. They drive the BMW M4 GT4 in the Silver Class.
