Mahindra XUV 7XO

Introduction

• Mahindra has launched the new XUV 7XO starting at Rs. 13.66 lakh.
• The XUV 7XO is basically the XUV 700 facelift.
• From 2026, this popular SUV has been rechristened to XUV 7XO.
• The 7XO gets cosmetic changes and new features to keep it afresh and relevant for 2026.
• Like the Mahindra XUV 700, the new 7XO is also offered in six variants including AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L across four powertrain options.

Mahindra XUV 7XO Exterior

• Mahindra was tight-lipped about the 7XO but gave short glimpses through teasers.
• The 7XO is like the XUV700 but many cosmetic changes have been made to the SUV.
• Amid the many changes, the most prominent change is the new 'XUV 7XO' badge.
• Other major changes to the XUV 7XO include a redesigned front fascia with new LED headlights, LED DRLs, and a tweaked grille.
• The XUV 7XO also features reworked taillamps with L-shaped LEDs from the recently launched XEV 9S.

Mahindra XUV 7XO Interior

• The 7XO’s cabin and the interior changes were under wraps but now show it to be similar to the XEV 9S.
• The top-spec XUV 7XO AX7L variant boast a new dashboard with a triple-screen setup.
• It’s similar to the XEV 9e and the XUV 7XO also gets optional rear screens.
• Moreover, the XUV 7XO gets the latest version of the Harman/Kardon music system.
• Mahindra has also refreshed the XUV 7XO's interior with a new colour scheme named Lumina and chestnut brown.
• Not just the dashboard, but the door panels also adorn this new theme for the XUV 7XO to look fresh.
• Otherwise, the existing bells and whistles including ADAS, five-star safety-crash rating etc. from the XUV 700 have been carried over to the XUV 7XO.

Mahindra XUV 7XO Powertrain

• The new Mahindra XUV 7XO continues with the powertrain options of the XUV 700.
• Under the bonnet of the new XUV 7XO is either a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol or a 2.0-litre mHawk diesel unit.
• These come mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
