The CF Moto 650 MT is the flagship adventure touring model from the Chinese motorcycle brand. The 650 MT has a tall stance, neatly integrated body panels give it solid presence and looks imposing with the vertically stacked LED headlights, and height adjustable large windscreen. The 650 GT comes with a wide handlebar, built for long hours in the saddle, and the 840 mm seat height gives the rider a commanding view of the road. Like its sibling the CF Moto 650 GT, the 650 MT also runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, and braking is handled by 300 mm twin discs on the front wheel and a single 240 mm disc on the rear wheel. But unlike the 650 GT, the MT has slightly less fuel-tank capacity at 18 litres, and it’s also the lighter of the two, with a kerb weight of 213 kg. The MT though has slightly more ground clearance, with 180 mm.
The 649.3 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine is also shared with the GT, but on the MT, it makes slightly more power. The same engine makes maximum power of 71 bhp at 8,750 rpm, and peak torque of 62 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Transmission is handled by a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension set-up of the 650 MT is also slightly different as is the swingarm and rear subframe. The GT gets a compression adjustable upside down front forks and a rear monoshock with preload and compression damping adjustment.
