• The Jetour T2 is a rugged and boxy looking vehicle popular across many global markets. 

• In the latest ad, the T2's distinct silhouette can be seen. 

• Even the front LED headlights and fog lamps confirm this. 

• Moreover, its boxy design shows resemblance with the latest and popular SUVs like the Defender and the Land Cruiser Prado.

• Though no images of the interior have been teased, we think the car will be similar to the global model. 

• The Jetour T2 is a five-seater SUV based on a monocoque chassis. 

• Despite its rugged exterior design, inside the T2 is pretty luxurious with leather upholstery. 

• In fact, it's quite tech-savvy with the electronic equipment. 

• Some noteworthy mentions include a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment paired with a Sony music system.

 Powertrain of the Jetour T2 

• No specifications have been confirmed yet for the Jetour T2. 

• But it is said that the T2 will be offered as a plug-in hybrid. 

• In this powertrain, there's a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, petrol engine. 

• This turbo-petrol produces 154bhp and 220Nm of torque. 

• Interestingly, the plug-in hybrid system incorporates two front-mounted electric motors. 

• Both the petrol engine and the electric motors provide a combined power output of 221bhp and 390Nm of torque. 
• As for the battery pack, it's a 26.7kWh unit providing an independent boost of 139km (NEDC cycle) to the overall driving range of the car with petrol.
