Which motorbikes compete in this segment? 

The Bike is a first mover in the Electric 2-wheeler segment in India with no immediate rivals, the flagship technology of the Revolt has not been used by other manufacturers with the only competitor of the RV 300 being its predecessor the Revolt RV 400. Nonetheless, the RV 300 is generally compared with Kawasaki Z650 RS, Royal Enfield Bullet, Komaki MX3 and Honda CB 200X due to their similarity in price range but with a completely different technology using petroleum fuel.

Verdict (Value for money)

Comparing the RV 300 to the RV 400s, the RV 300 has a little greater range. The motorbike can travel 180 kilometres in Eco mode and 110 and 80 kilometres in Regular and Sport modes, on a single charge. The top speed of the RV 300 is only a little bit slower at 65kph compared to its predecessor. The wheelbase of the entry-level RV 300 is 30 millimetres shorter at 1,350 millimetres, and the rear tire is smaller with a smaller rear disc brake. The smaller 1.5kW hub-mounted motor's claimed kerb weight is 7 kg less than the RV 400's 101 kg, which is the major difference and makes it ideal for city roads with high manoeuvrability and surely is value for money.
